Line of the night: Nov. 21st

The Pacers dropped the Hornets, lead by Paul George who scored a game high 37 points, and Hibbert got a triple-double the hard way with 11 blocks. The Raptors fell to the Bobcats. Detroit fell to Orlando. Prgo did his very best Irving impersonation as he lead the Cavs past the 76ers, who failed to take advantage of the absence of Irving. Rondo continued his steak of double-digit assist games (35 games in a row now) as two elder statesmen met in Boston: Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. Duncan and the Spurs came out on top. The Wizards were a basket away from their first win of the season, but the Hawks kept them winless despite an amazing effort from the Wizards bench (Ariza got 15 boards off the bench) in an overtime thriller. Rookie John Henson came off the bench to score 17 points and grab 18 rebounds for the Bucks, but alas, the Heat came out on top in an overtime game that saw LBJ get a near triple-double and Bosh nearly post a 20-20 game. OKC pulled out a win over the Clippers lead by Durant who posted 35 points in ANOTHER overtime thriller that saw an old lady in the front row get hit by the ball TWICE!!! The Rockets rolled over the Bulls behind Harden’s 28 points. Denver pulled out a win over the shorthanded T-Wolves, who got a surprise lift from Kevin Love who finally returned to the line up and played like his didn’t miss a beat, scoring 34 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. NY lost their second game of the season to a shorthanded Mavs despite getting 21 points and 13 rebounds out of Tyson Chandler. Vince Carter scored 25 points in 23 minutes and Mayo scored a game-high 27 points. The Suns dropped the Trailbalzers with a well balanced attack. The Lakers fell to the lowly Kings despite Kobe’s 38 points which lead all scorers on the night (Kobe got 20 shots, Dwight got 4... I’m not sure Dwight is going to be very happy if this keeps up). And finally BK fell to the Warrior who saw three players reach 20+ points.

So many great lines last night. Kobe lead all scorers. Anderson-V lead all rebounds. Rondo lead all playmakters. Hibbert had an evening high 11 blocks and Durant got an evening high 5 steals!

I think I'm going to go wiht Kevin Love, though there is certainly a case to be made for several other players. But 34 points and 14 rebounds is pretty fawking good for his first game coming back from an injury.

Why did the chicken cross the basketball court?
Because he heard the refs were blowing fowls.

Paul George set the record for most 3's in a game by a Pacer. That gets my vote.

Roy Denzil Hibbert's 11 blocks won it for me.

I think Wade should at least an option up there, but I can't really complain about the options given. Out of all of them, I'm definitely going Hibbert.

LBJ and Bosh were very instrumental in the Heat's win against the Bucks, particularly the 18 rebounds from CB1 and the all-around game from LeBron.

Wanted to be a homer and go with KD in the huge win against LAC, but I went with Hibbert.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

I went with Love. IMO it was LeBron but in his first game back Love did to well.

Dude had a triple double with blocks. 11 blocks happens at most once a year. And he got the points and boards to boot. If he was efficient in his scoring effort it would've been a NO brainer. But still easy enough.
