    My hope:

Masterson, Choo, and one of Cabrera/Chisenhall/Perez for DeJesus, Wood, Jackson/Vitters/Szczur (hell, it could be two of the three for all I care), Cabrera, Lake, Torreyes, and Tayler Scott.

    My expectation:

    Jimenez, Choo, Chisenhall for stuff.

Kyle, what's the prospect creep phrase equivalent for this?
At first glance that seems like a ton to give up but then you look at it for a minute vs. the potential return and it really just....isn't.

    DONT

    CARE

Fallen star who is still a good regular with some rebound potential and minimal commitment. Better offensive player than the team's current RFer but his wife is probably nowhere near as hot.

Great underrated player who got lost a bit cause of injuries but, was on his way to being a top player in the league. Still has great abilities, gets on base, has some light pop, and looks to be healthy.

I've had him on my christmas list for a while now but, feel this is the most realistic chance we have at him. Would be a great player to have.

Mark Reynolds also non-tendered. I guess he's a possible 3B option but his defense is atrocious.

    More Hoyer:

“It is always a balancing act when you have prospects you like a lot and they’re (that) far away,” Hoyer said. “You can’t really think too much about those guys. You have to think about your team now. The idea of blocking when a guy is in the low minors is kind of ridiculous.

“We’ll look to improve our outfield. We know that’s an area we need to improve upon and there’s a number of players that we’ll be talking to across the next few weeks.”
    SAYS YOU!

He was considered an option pre-Stewart trade.

A Soriano-Bourn-Choo OF would be pretty nice to have.

Masterson and Choose deal would be sick.

Bruce Levine per email told me hes heard Boras is asking for 5yrs or more for Bourn, and assume more cash then BJ Upton.

^ Knowing Boras he wants more then 100mil then we should pass on him, but if we can somehow get Bourn for 5yrs 75-88mil then am for it.

I'm starting to be more interested in Hamilton just because I had no idea the league would be so down on him. I still feel like it would take a lot to woo him to Chicago with the big city temptations and all the day games, but it doesn't seem insurmountable anymore.
