Glad to hear the Cubs are talking with the Yankees. The Yankees love threesomes, and the Tigers have been a partner in two of their big ones (Weaver and Granderson).

I think we all be happy about players added to this years team...even Kyle. My gut speaking this time...I will say we add a player that makes Castro and Rizzo #2 and #3 on the team as far as production is concerned.

You're right. For some reason I thought he ended the year at AAA but he was at AA and A+ most of last year. Still doesn't change my mind on attempting to acquire him though. He made the jump to AA really well.

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Cubs traded for Dexter Fowler- very Bourne-esk player but with more pop. Darwin Barney seems like a perfect fit for Colorado right now. Maybe Barney and Brett Jackson for Fowler and change of scenery guy Drew Pomeranz, plus another arm would work out well for all involved.

Dexter Fowler is awful defensively, BABIP lucky and coming from Coors Field. I want nothing to do with him.

Fowler's home and away splits scare me but the Rockies are a nice trade partner.
