I would trade him. Realistically, after last year, it would not be suprising if he had similar numbers next season. Trade him away while he has some value, and sign a sure handed SS who has great range an a glove. Help the D, and bat that guy 9th. With the lineup the Tigers have, they can afford to have a guy who will bat slightly less than Peralta did with no power. Ill take the extra defensive help and a slightly weaker bat.

Trade him for a bag of chips. I have said it in the past and will say it again, we need a good defensive SS badly. They could make up for Miguels lack of range.

First off, why in the world would you trade a SS for a relief pitcher?

Second, why would WE have to add something.

Quit undervaluing Peralta.

IMO, this is setting up for an Upton trade.

They have a need at 3B but not SS, either way though Peralta is not a difference maker in any way when we're talking about a trade for a player like Upton.

If Upton and Aaron Hill were in the mix i could see a deal. I wouldn't expect to see any pitchers in the deal but giving up Nick C and Garcia in this deal would be worth it.
