    Yikes! Big money!

40% luxury tax. So he costs us like $22 million for one year.

If we are not going to sign guys long term, then may as well stock the farm with picks.

But, that being said, if he was only going back to Japan.....we get no pick, so great signing!

I welcome you back K Yoda!

Not like they are going to lower the parking or ticket prices anyway. So I would like to see them back in uniform at least for 1 more year. Before this team goes to more ****.
I would like to see Swisher, Mo, Pettitte and Chavy all back......a bad 4 game series is not going to concern me....

Kuroda had a 5.2 wins above replacement
    CC was 3.2

And who is going to replace Swisher's numbers?

With Alex up and down with injury I believe Chavez is the proper backup....

Not always with the results but the offseason moves by George looked good on paper.....

And my point was to forget the big free agent signings of the George years...The poster was disappointed with very little moves....

You didn't provide me with any examples of "good pitchers and hitters," which is what I asked for. Sure, there are Hamilton and Greinke, but both have their faults for the kind of money they will be seeking, and I support not going after either. So who else do you propose Cashman going after for this "overhaul" you are calling for?
They still get stuck with a tax bill...

For what it's worth, the Yankees have nothing to do with the parking prices.

I think I'm starting to sounder stand why starving knick is a dick to you.

But yeah, great signing. Was by far the most consistent pitcher last year.

    I would have given him a 1 year $25 million dollar deal, I don't give a ****. Great signing.
