I am still in shock that the Alex "The Phoenix" Smith era may be over. This soon.

Yeah, me too. I kept hoping there was gonna be that game where he broke out and kept it going. He had some great games, but just couldn't be that explosive type player. It's unfortunate.

Should you believe that report without an official quote from the team?

Based on what has been officially reported by the team... yes. Which is what I was expecting... just like I am expecting Kaep to start.

#49ers announce inactives & "no lineup changes." Alex Smith is listed as the starter on depth-chart gamecard. But Kaep was in last lineup

Sucks that Smith won't be playing. I've been a big fan of him, but I am also very excited to see what Kap will do today and hopefully bring us to the next level.

Would you rather have your local WNBA team win a championship this year, or find 5 dollars on the ground? 🤔

I know it won't happen, but how unprepared would the Saints be for Alex starting at this point? They at best spent maybe 15 minutes on Alex.

If you're sad about Alex Smith... I got some extra tissue next to my lotion on the bedstand if anybody needs some.

I'm not, just saying that the Saints most likely didn't prepare for smith at all. Since Alex wasn't cleared until today I wanted Kaep starting anyways.
