The silver lining is the injuries to Hunter and Williams were at our deepest positions. Hope Walker won't miss time. There's a huge drop off between him and Celek regardless of how you feel about his drops this season.

still no update on hunter's injury?
I wouldn't count on any updates except "He's working through something."

I was very impressed with how our team played. As other people said the penalties were annoying as hell. I thought we got robbed on quite a few plays. I don't think the game was as close as the score showed. I think it easily could of been a 17+ pt victory.
I was happy with how Kap played. Obviously is first int was a rookie mistake but whatever, it didn't kill us (luckily).
I don't think Kap got sacked once....he's going to be a tough guy to get down. He has such long strides, he makes it look easy evading defenders and extending the plays. I'm loving the ceiling for our team finishing out the year.
I must have missed Walker getting hurt?
The only call that annoyed me was the Crabtree ruled down call.

We physically man handled the Saints once again and shut down their offense. I defense looked like the defense of last year and Kaep was great out there, he made a couple of mistakes but it didn't cost us the game and rather he gets that out now. Hopefully we don't lose Hunter for long but I am confident in the depth of our team. Jacobs activated was great and I think we did this to use his muscle and toughness. We hit Brees hard and with passion it seemed, loved how the Saints thought they could get in our faces and intimidate us right from the get go. In Harbaugh and our management we trust, Kaep made big throws that Alex would not have made and he opens our playbook up and will always keep the opposing defense guessing. Let's get a W against the Rams and keep rolling with Kaep.
I honestly think we'll see James and Jenkins next week. Williams not only leaves a hole at WR but at returner. We'll likely need them both to fill his roles.

Well I guess on top of the Williams and Hunter injuries Anthony Davis played the whole 2nd half with a broken finger. Hope this doesn't effect his play down the road.
49ers, Athletics, Warriors = Life!
Can you Bernie Lean?

A's = 13-9 Defending AL West Champs!

The defense was ****ing boss today. I loved all of the hard hits. Our front 7 was amazing today. All played great with tremendous energy.
I loved that one catch by Crabtree when he went for the ball and converted that 3rd down. It shows how talented he is.
Kinda sad about the injuries but maybe it gives a chance for AJ and James to get some burn so we see what they can do. I wonder if AJ can fit into William's role.
