Would like to see James and Jenkins next week since we just potentially lost a RB and WR

Ok Trent, so the doorway out is that way?

I'm going to guess that James returns kicks and they keep Ginn on punts.

The defense was out of control tonight.

I'm fairly certain that we'll see one of them. Kyle Williams' injury looked like a torn knee ligament. Hunter's looked like an ankle sprain. Hunter shouldn't miss much time unless it is a high ankle sprain.

I'd really love to see them both, even if it is just for one game. I feel that with Kap running the 2nd team offense most of the year that he'll have a really good groove with them.

I want to see them both, but I don't want to see them both. If we see them both, that means Hunter is OUT for the game. As much as I'd like to see them play, I don't want to play without Hunter. He's been great for us. Now, if they activate both of them at Jacobs' expense instead of because Hunter is hurt, then I'd be excited

When I see guys get carted off I usually expect at least one game missed. I'd assume they'd play over Jacobs who had, what?, one or two carries today even with Hunter going down?

Why was Jacobs all of a sudden activated? Did that have to do with Kap starting? He wasnt active last week was he?

Apparently the coaches thought he'd make a bigger impact than Will Tukuafu in this game.

Yea, that's my take too. Not sure he did, but also not sure that's his fault.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the 49ers fear WR Kyle Williams tore a knee ligament in Sunday's Week 12 win over New Orleans.
Also a special teamer, Williams is the Niners' No. 4 receiver behind Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham, and Randy Moss. A year-ending knee injury for Williams could get explosive first-rounder A.J. Jenkins onto the game-day roster.
