this is going to be a tough game. If Aldon and Justin can have the game they had last night, then I see us winning.

I do worry that if Alex starts, we might lose. I actually have a little bit more confidence in CK.

It's not going to be an easy game either way, I expect the Saints to be ready for both QBs.

    Like the Bears did?

I like our chances with eitehr QB, but the Saints are playing well and always are dangerous, especially at the dome. It goes without saying that I would prefer CK, but In Harbaugh I Trust.

To be fair we are facing an explosive offense with an elite QB, so comparing them to the Bears is apples and oranges. I expect a tough game from them especially since they'll be in the dome.(Domes suck, that isn't real football!)

With that said I'm confident in 49ers win

I think Smith starts this game. I think Harbaugh will stay with his starter instead of going with the "shiny new toy'. However, I also think the Saints win the game. If it's a convincing win 17+ pts. We'll see Keap the next week and the rest of the way. If it's close and Smith shows some willingness to be the "reason they win" instead of "not the reason they lose", then Keap's great game is exaclty what Smith needed to get over the hump.

Much more concerned about how our defense plays in this one, I can't take another shootout like last game against them.

The Saints are hot, and if Alex is back then I can see him again out Drew Breesing Drew Brees like he did in the playoffs. If Kap is in, again I think he can sling the ball but I worry he'll get reckless once the Saints either get the lead or are actually pushing up his back side really hard.

Either way, our D needs to be on again. Drew get's that ball out quick so we have to keep big time pressure on him, and our secondaries & LB's need to lock up those receivers for at least 3 - 5 seconds almost every play.

    Kaep starts: 42/56 823 yards, 7 TDs, 5 rush, 128 yards, 1 TD

He cements himself as the greatest QB to ever live, and we win.

    ------------

    Smith starts: 12/16 210 yards 1 TD/1 Int, 3 rush, 18 yards

We still win somehow like always.

Looking forward to the rematch of the best game of last season (by far).
Some WR's are divas. Then there's new Saints WR Kenny Stills

League Best rushing offense vs a run defense ranked dead last. Roman/Harbaugh have to be salivating.

Let's not get carried away like the rock in Gores hands. Brees is always dangerous and can light any D up.

Best way to keep it out of his hands, run the ball and the clock down before he even gets it. Have to avoid the big plays, can't count on jumping out to a lead like we did last time.
