Ok if Rondo doesn't have three hall of famers to dish the ball to at the start of his career he is mentioned in nowhere near the same breath.

If the Celtics or any other franchise ever had to rely on Rondo as their superstar without supporting stars they'd be anemic.

I don't think Rondo has the Steve Nash effect because people don't respect his scoring ability outside of the paint.

Considering rondo is carrying the team this year (and i thought he did last year from watching games...stats will disagree though) and rondo is shooting a career high %age from 18 feet id say this is asaine

Since 2010 rondo hasnt been carried by those guys rondo holds his own weight and gets easy shots for those hall of fames because they cant score on there own anymore

And its much easier to tally up those assits numbers rondo did when they play off of him and cheating to another celtics player cause rondo cant shoot

Plaeyrs like rondo will make players around them better regardless how they are.

And you can impact the game on your court vision ,passing and deffense.

No one needed to check Kidds scoring when he entered the league, and he managed to shine before having anyone to pass the ball to?

Also ray allen has been a straight up jump shooter since 2010

Paul looks slower and more sluggish every year

Nd kg had a rebirth last playoffs because of the play of rondo

The boston celtics offense since 2010 has geared towards rondos strengths to make the team better and to mask those hofers weaknesses since they gotten older.

Jason Kidd was a leader though. You're talking about a point guard who kept his team together. Rondo is a good defender, playmaker etc. . . However he lacks a key intangible when it comes to running a team.

The Celtics are struggling to get into a groove and instead of slowig down the offense working the ball inside and starting to get it back Rondo lets his frustration get the better of him. Hollinger said he saw Rondo play 4 times this year and Rondo took himself out of all 4 games. You can't count on a player who can't on himself.
