    2013

What will happen with these players?
Charles Woodson - Traded, restructure, or nothing
AJ Hawk - Traded, restructure, or nothing
Greg Jennings - signed or let go
Ryan Pickett - restructured or nothing
Jermichael Finley - signed longer, traded, or nothing
Jeff Saturday - let go, or nothing
Donald Driver - let go, retire, or resign
These are some high price players that I wonder about next year.

The biggest question for me is about Finley.

Woodson- restructure- I still think he has some things to contribute as a player, but the clock is running out.

Hawk- restructure- He is playing better this year. He was very active in the detroit game this past week. definitely should not have the same salary though.

Pickett- restructure- Pickett is also playing well this year. And i don't think anybody is ready to step up and take his place against the run.

Finley- nothing- Finley is too talented and I know he hasn't done anything this year, but I would give him one more shot.

Saturday- let go- he hasn't played well this year, due mostly to his age. Thanks for your one year!

Driver- let go- I love DD but if he won't retire I think its time to cut ties. He has fallen off and would take a spot a young talent could have.

Jennings- let go- kills me to say it, as I've watched him since his days at WMU, but he has had too many injuries and will still likely demand big money.

Those are my thoughts about these guys, but who knows I'm not a GM haha

If we let Jennings walk wouldn't we most likely get a 3rd in comp for him? Or does it depend on the contract he signs.

Wahl, Rivera, Favre, and now Jennings. Studs in their respective positions but Ted knows when to fold'em.

Unless Jennings tears it up in the postseason and is willing to take some manner of discount - I seriously doubt Ted brings him back.

All of those players are either old/downfall of their career, or over rated/underachieving. With another solid draft in 2013 plus the young core of players we have now, we can be pretty damn good for at least the next 5 years.

Note: we have won games for the most part without many of those players, but lets see how this team finishes this season and see who is worthy of keeping

Rivera and Favre was far from being in their prime. Rivera I believe signed a contract with the cowboys and only played a year into it before injuries and age took their toll and he retired. Favre was out of his prime because the fiasco that got him out of Green Bay was him actually retiring. Wahl you could argue was still in his prime but, was at the tail end of his prime.

I agree, that's alot of money with those guys, who have not been playing.
