I think the plan is going to have all 3 guys get some time, so I'll be a bit surprised to see any one get a heftier load than any of the others unless one is going off. I do get the feeling Fox is more comfortable with Ball considering Moreno's lack of play and Hillman's inexperience though.

i dont think they would be bad to have just in case if, knock on some serious wood, moreno and or hillman were to go down (crazier things have happened) it would be good to have a guy there to take some carries. not saying theyd be great but just filling up a rb roster spot taht we lost with mcgahee going on IR

He had 111 total yards today... it was much needed, and a couple times it seemed like manning was comfortable using him as a safety blanket.

Knowshon played well today. Added that chunk we rely on with McGahee and perhaps a bit more. I think the thing that made me impressed the most was when he'd break for 5 and see some space, he protected the ball with both hands. I remember a handful of times he'd break a 10 yard gain and try to get fancy with it, only to fumble it. He was far more patient today as well. Two things that drove me nuts about him that I saw little of today. I think showing some maturity starting to show through or at least I'm more encouraged. I can't say I'm fully convinced, but very refreshing start and should make fans feel a little less uneasy about the run game.
