ladies and gentlemen.....forget wiki...i shouldn't have post it...john gibbons....overall...he wasn't my premier choice....i thought maybe torre would have been a decent choice...just heard it on the radio.....tracy, acta, and riggleman's career haven't been that great....they were all under .500...i would pick gibbons over all 3 of those guys

Yeah! Thats right, I hope these rumours are false. I hate this guy, I thought his firing was 1 year too late when they got rid of him 4 years ago. I thought we had a great team in place going into the season, and they picked this idiot to manage the team....please tell me this is a joke because this guy caused many players to leave with black marks scared on them.....but than again if he knew about Yunel Escobar's homophobic slur, Escobar would have been benched for the rest of the season without question.

I wanted a guy who has proved himself in the majors before and Gibbons hasn't gotten a ML job since the Jays let him go.

Tracy would have been awful
Not too familiar with Riggleman but seems he wasn't even contacted
Acta has questionable BP management, though I wouldn't have been angry
Hargrove 'lost his passion' so not sure that was an outstanding choice
Wallach inexperienced, Farrell type of move all over again
Same for Dave Martinez, and we just haven't heard much there in a while.
