One player gets injured, and he's soley to blame? sure... Its not like Hoffman, Rivera, Goose Gossage, or other closers had 2 inning saves before...During his tenure, the jays bullpen was always near the top of the league

I don't know...I've got no problems with Gibbons. Always came off as a dumb hick to me but he's got passion (that's for sure), not afraid to back down from umps and get behind his teammates (Farrell could be very timid), solid BP management, don't recall getting too pissed off at batting orders. I think he's a good guy to have around to light a fire under a bunch of very talented players. His passion could bring them together and we won't have to worry about boneheaded in-game management being the downfall of the team.
