Yeah, he plays OLB tho and he does more than get sacks, has more tackles than Von Miller.

2 more tackles than Von. Von has 2 more FF's. Is that part of the equation?

I do believe he was stating that Aldon Smith does more than get sacks. Way to get all like a defensive girl about it

They won't get by Miami and they'll be lucky if they can beat Boston. So since you're so high on Rose, I don't see him doing any damage at all come playoff time.

The entire defense is responsible for Aldon's success. Just as the entire defense is responsible for Patrick Willis' success. Team defense in San Fran

Lol no. Watch Aldon play. He does a lot by himself.

So untrue, watch the games, he lines up all over the field and manhandles OT quite often. obviously the d helps out a bit, but thats why its a team game.

Justin Smith is on the team of coarse 49er fans understand that.

Similar to Peyton vs Brady debates. These guys dont play head to head there both excellent players why do we need to put one down to try to make the other look better?

That is all he is though. He is a pass rusher and that is it. He is not effective in coverage at all when he is given the chance and he is not good at stopping the run. He is very one dimensional.

My god people only have two settings, HOF or garbage. Aldon isn't an incredible all around linebacker but he's not just a pass rusher either. He's an elite pass rusher who's decent in the rest of the game but not great. I'd rather have Von Miller who does more in other aspects of the game and can fit any scheme, and I'd rather have JJ Watt because those swats create amazing opportunities for turnovers, but Aldon is still one of the top defensive players in the game.
    We're better than you

Totally false. He sets the edge against the run very well..and chaces running backs down from behind a lot as well.
