    Playing in the Dominican winter league, seems very serious, its reported as a maxillofacial fracture, hope he's going to be ok.

    Feel for him, hope he pulls through.

    Wouldn't be surprised if MLB starts getting some protective helmet for pitchers...though I guess face will always be left exposed. It's a sad part of the game.

    That's terrible. I've always liked him too, wish we had kept him.

    I read he had accepted his assignment to Buffalo and was still in the organization. Either way I hope he recovers in case we lose all of our pitchers again. Very sad
