    Bayless will struggle at SG

His defense is not as great as people make it out to be

    Just like James Johnson's defense

He only played good as a starter. Do you guys really truly believe he would've surpassed Lowry? Impossible

Bayless wouldn't change anything for this team honestly. People are saying this is another one of BC's screw ups and whatnot, but really he has no effect on the team at all

James Johnson and Bayless we over rated them. I said it before and I shall continue to say it again.

Bayless the PG of the future...

How Bayless was seen more valuable than Jose is beyond my imagination.

    Champs will be champs...

I don't mind the idea. But if you are moving DeRozan to SF, we could simply put Ross in at SG instead of Bayless. More size for SG and more upside as a player.

"What if" threads tend to be for the dreamers. Dream big my friend!

Never understood the point of "What-If" threads.

Lets compare numbers as a starter last year with Lowry and Calderon...just for fun:

    JB: 17.8/3.0/5.3 in 34.6 mpg. FG%=45 3P%=43 and 1.36 spg.
    KL: 15.9/5.3/7.2 in 35.4 mpg. FG%=42 3P%=39 and 1.82 spg
    JC: 10.8/3.0/8.8 in 33.9 mpg. FG%=46 3P%=37 and 0.89 spg

People need to accept the fact that the guy can ball.

He also said he loved being in Toronto publicly on many occasions, so I can see why people were so upset to see him just let go considering his roster spot effectively was given to Landry "I forget how to shoot" Fields.

I would not want to see him as our starting SG, but I wish he would have went somewhere where they needed a starting PG to see what he could in a full season playing 35-38 mpg with the ball in his hands like D Rose. I am not saying he would be better then the former MVP, but I think the kid would open a lot of eyes with the numbers he would put up with that kind of an opportunity.

And what happens if KL is out of line-up for larger durations like AB last year?

Playing your *** off isn't the same as playing intelligently and effectively. And his D was not amazing. It was ok, nothing more.

    since were doing what ifs....

what if we drafted drummond, and traded calderon and bargs for rudy gay ?

    lowry
    derozan
    gay
    drummond
    jonas

i prefer that starting 5 to what we have now. also we would still have amir, ed, fields, kleiza, anderson, lucas off the bench.

i just thought because bayless can shoot 3, handle the rock, get 2 the rim at will, which all things fields cannot do plus be a decent passer and rebounder. also he played well last year starting at sg with jose at point. sorta oj mayo ish and dd would be better at sf. spacing would be nice 2 with lowry and jb 3 point shooting. but anyways we are stuck with a scrub like fields.. what could have been.
