    Finally a real center!

I hope something gets done soon.

Gortat is exactly what this team needs...

I would do Bass, Courtney Lee and a 1st

I feel like the Suns would ask for Bradley though which I would not do

No way we give up that much. Suns would take that deal in a second, we could do better.

It would be interesting seeing KG slide back to the 4. I wonder how him and Gortat would fit together

No way, way to much for Gortat. No way Danny does that, 0% chance.

It would be something like A. Bradley, Melo, Bass, + late 1st....At most!

The guy is good/ OK, yes he would fit in well, but dear heavens lets not make this guy the next M. Malone.

Also, I know this about us, we all love our Celtics. But we have seen that this team cannot compete and we want anything to change that/ make it competitive.

Lets not jump off the ship just yet and throw all our talent away.

I do think there is some room to deal (Celtics Backcourt). You have R. Rondo, J. Terry, C. Lee, A. Bradley, L. Barbosa.

Yeah I think its most likely A. Bradley, Melo, maybe 2 1st rounders

I would also be talking hard with Kenyon Martins agent. If Celtics could get him, also block him from going to Miami Heat.

It also needs to happen soon in the NBA Season, can't wait until later, team needs time to figure out roles.

I like this, but I'd replace Melo with Bass and offer one first rounder.

AB, Bass (he's not that good, bloated contract), first rounder

If that doesn't get it done, then your deal might work.

Looking at the Suns roster, Bradley fits that run n gun team. His speed, & defense make him a fit in that system.

My guess is Bradley & Sullinger get the job done. No #1 needed.

BTW, ESPN insider had this speculated yesterday. They proposed Bradley + Courtney Lee for Gortat. Interesting.

bass + bradley should be enough, I mean Gortat is good and would fill our need, but suns have a need for a young promising shooting guard aswell (offered for gordon and mayo)
I really dont want to trade bradley but if he nets us a good bigman ( gortat, jefferson, millsap, j. smith etc..) then we have to sacrifice him.

Also worth noting for those that are including Bass in any deal....Bass can't be traded until Jan 15th because of NBA rules permitting teams from dealing recently-signed free agents immediately.

    fyi

    Yep.

Gortat is getting 7 M per the next two years. So most likely we'll have to package up a Vet plus a prospect. So keep in mind we only have to match 7 M.

Bradley's still on his rookie deal, right ?

I think we'd have to include Lee or Bass in any equation to match up with Gortat's salary.

If Ainge could pull it off without using Bradley he'd be a magician. I just don't see it however.

It's Bradley + Lee or Bradley + Bass for Gortat.
