But in reality I like McNabb since he's 'most like Ben' in that he has used his legs to extend plays.
Kafka isn't a bad choice when you break it down. His college offense was a 'dink and dunk' (or 'drink and drunk' at ESPN) offense what thrived on short quick accurate passes. It could help in a pinch that he's familiar with the offensive style.
I think going forward it's time to draft, not exactly a replacement to be groomed for Ben, but in the 3rd round a capable backup (thinking Feeley/Kolb mode on this) that can start in a pinch and be traded if he shines. Who knows, we might have a Farve/Elway on our hands with Ben.
As far as Tebow....no, hell no, **** no. If Ben has a bad day we will hear no end to it. As far as I'm concerned there are only two people Tebow can be a backup to and we wouldn't hear complaints: Brady and God. Otherwise there will always be the rumbles. Especially with 'Choir Boy Timmy' behind 'Bad Boy Satan Leader Ben', even though us fans know Ben has made a 180* change in his life.
