    So, for some perspective from New England -- a lot of people up here really liked him as the backup for Brady. As soon as Mallett looked good in preseason last year, I knew Hoyer's time there was limited, but then I was never a Hoyer fan. He's definitely the "game manager" type, but that's all we should really need.
