line of the night: Nov. 18th

Warriors fell to OKC behind Kevin Durant’s first career triple-double (two games brought to us in 3D last night, one by Kobe and the other by Durant). Westy scored a game his 30 points and added a game high 5 steals! BK handed the Kings another demoralizing loss on their home floor and got a balanced effort from their roster, DMC scored a game high 29 points. The Cavs fell to the 76ers despite another All-Star performance from Anderson-V. Jose Calderon increased his trade value a little last night by leading the Raptors past the Magic with an 18-assist performance, he lead all players in assists last night, which is doubly impressive since Rondo was playing last night as well. And the Knicks improved their record with a win over the Pacers, Melo scored a game high 26 points.

I think anybody who has read my posts knows I’m not going to be investing any money in a Kobe jersey any time in the near future, but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect his skill, and even though Durant got a triple-double with more points and more rebounds, I’m still giving it to Kobe. I think his defensive performance separates the two. Pulling in three steals is impressive, while Durant didn’t get any blocks or steals last night (which is out of character for him this season).
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$. And I'm all out of bubble gum.
    Everything is a self-portrait.

Tie between KD and Kobe. I can't really choose one of the other.

    KD of course.

Jason Collins claims he is the first openly gay NBA player despite the fact we witnessed the entire league bend the Lakers over all season.

Well what do you find more rare? Kobe getting 11 assist or Durant with 10?

    Answer is Kobe.
