    LOL was just wondering the same thing. Unless he has something up his sleeve for 1b/DH or the pen, I'm not sure why he's waited this long. Maybe it's cuz there's just so many new additions that it's hard to coordinate.

    Reyes, Cabrera, Bonifacio, Johnson, Beuhrle, Dickey, and Izturis. That would be a mammoth presser indeed.

    With 5 of our guys in the D.R. WBC lineup, and Dickey and Reyes having stories to share from NY, I think these guys will mesh well.

    Doesn't Toronto already have somebody like that in the position anyway?

    Canseco has now ended his candidacy, by the way. He got another 15 minutes of fame out of it, so he had a successful run.

    It's hot here today. 42 now...going to 46.
    I remember when I was in TO and it'd get to 34 and the everyone would freak.
    8 years ago here we had 2 days of 45 in a row. Oh Mumma.

    what I would do to be in hot weather right now.. went to school in January for the first time in 2 years today and I remembered how depressing this **** gets

    Anything over 35 is just unpleasant. I remember walking outside on my first 45 degree day (I think I was the only one) . A twilight zone thing happened. All the flies where just sitting on the sidewalk. Not dead, they moved a bit.

    I put my foot near oneas to step on it and the fly didn't move. I swear it looked at me and gave me this look "It's too hot for this ****. Step on me if you want but I'm not playing your games today"

    In Dubai...it get's to 50-55...that is beyond nuts.

    spent my childhood in Iraq... played soccer regularly at 2 in the afternoon in what was easily 50+ degrees weather

    Funny thing is they almost never said it was over 50. It was always upper 40s because 50s meant that offices and businesses had to be shutdown.
