    Cool

Fundamental reason for hating this thread.

I think we can go 5-3. I want us to go 8-0.

So which do you recommend I choose or shall I cop out and split the difference?

    SAME DILLEMA LOL

    Indy WIN
    New Orleans We win
Dallas Do they get revenge? I saw we win
Houston J-Lin & Harden... hope we win!!! We should
    Detroit Win
    Brooklyn Loss
    Milwaukee Loss
    Washington Win

I'm trying not to be too positive, and Milwaukee always gives us problems. I say we could go 7-1, maybe 8-0 but... that's why you play the games.

Seems to me,,,this schedule is as easy as it gets.....
you mean the Nets schedule don't you? You mean playing the Celtics who aren't the same team without their best player, Rondo, right?

You seem confused? Nets have had the easiest schedule by far.

    Word.

Our guys will not allow it to happen. They heard the smack talk in the offseason, and will show them that they are the kings of NY.

Well, we won the HORNETS game. Expected!

Now comes one of the four challenges (Dallas, Houston, Brooklyn, and Bucks). We're not gonna lose all 4 of the "challenging" games. We're too good for that.

That's why I said we'll go 6-2...but for a FACT, this team will be at least 5-3 and has a pretty good chance to go 8-0 just because of the schedule.

Brooklyn will be playing Portland the night before they play us, so hopefully the back to back will have them a bit fatigued when we play them.

I voted 6-2. I know most people here are skeptical to these type threads and consider them somewhat taboo, but going 6-2 in that stretch seems realistic to me. In fact I'm starting to think 7-1 is attainable.

We better beat up on the Bucks as well, I still remember that Ilysova tip in last year when we played them in Milwaukee that lost us that game.

    Washington

Looking at the remaining schedule for the next 2 weeks (this is a nice thread to do twice a month)...seems we have some favorable matchups, imo. Our first half was BRUTAl, with Orlando being the only bad team. But the 2nd half of the month seems way, way easy.

    Good Teams: Dallas
    Ok Teams: Brooklyn, Milwaukee
Bad Teams: New Orleans, Houston, Washington
    AWFUL: Detroit

We definitely have a a pretty easy schedule. We're already at 7-1 against a tough schedule. I can see us going 6-2 at least during the 2nd half (putting us at 13-3 for the month of November).

    -We already won at Indiana.
-New Orleans should be a piece of cake.
-Dallas worries me because its on the 2nd night of the back2back. Would have been good to have this as the first game :/
-Houston and Detroit should be easy wins. Houston only has a chance if Lin and Harden play like they did in their 2nd game of the season.
-Brooklyn will be on the 2nd night of a back2back but I just don't see NY allowing themselves to lose this game.
-Milwaukee always plays us hard. Real hard. Jennings and Monta have flawless shooting nights. AND now they're playing very well too!
Well, we lost to Houston (should have been easy win but...) and Dallas (one of the teams that had me worried).

I had the Knicks pegged at 6-2 for that stretch. They are 3-2 so far. They still have 2 games which are difficult (Brooklyn and Milwaukee).

Washington should be an easy win, much like the Detroit/Hornets games. Those teams don't have anything good enough to win against a top team like the Knicks.

Sure hope they don't lose out to all 3 teams which should have posed a threat (Dallas, Brooklyn, and Bucks) BUT I really doubt that we could miss out on all 3 games against the quality teams.

Houston was an unexpected loss, but I did say that if they played well they could do it. They had a star (harden) and if the other players played well (Lin, Parsons, Asik)...and they did. \\

So it's up to the knicks to get at least 1 win out of the top 3 teams during this stretch.

I said 5-3 was probable but thought 6-2 was more than attainable.

We ended up losing to Houston....so losing to the Nets is a VERY REAL possibility.
