    Record

Bucks and Nets are better than Dallas Mavericks in every respect...

Wizzards are worse than than the Pistons...

When is John Wall and Nene comming back ? When is Kenny Granger comming back ?
Seems to me,,,this schedule is as easy as it gets.....

Looking at the remaining schedule for the next 2 weeks (this is a nice thread to do twice a month)...seems we have some favorable matchups, imo. Our first half was BRUTAl, with Orlando being the only bad team. But the 2nd half of the month seems way, way easy.

    Good Teams: Dallas
    Ok Teams: Brooklyn, Milwaukee
Bad Teams: New Orleans, Houston, Washington
    AWFUL: Detroit

We definitely have a a pretty easy schedule. We're already at 7-1 against a tough schedule. I can see us going 6-2 at least during the 2nd half (putting us at 13-3 for the month of November).

    -We already won at Indiana.
-New Orleans should be a piece of cake.
-Dallas worries me because its on the 2nd night of the back2back. Would have been good to have this as the first game :/
-Houston and Detroit should be easy wins. Houston only has a chance if Lin and Harden play like they did in their 2nd game of the season.
-Brooklyn will be on the 2nd night of a back2back but I just don't see NY allowing themselves to lose this game.
-Milwaukee always plays us hard. Real hard. Jennings and Monta have flawless shooting nights. AND now they're playing very well too!
Retire Jason Kidd,,Kurt Thomas and Rasheed,,now

I agree with the one game at a time mentality for the players and coaches, but as fans? Who the hell cares, do what ever you want. If anyone truly thinks a few fans on PSD, out of hundreds of thousands of NYK fans around the world, projecting the next stretch of games is going to bring bad karma and make our team play worse, lets just say I'm not as superstitious as you.

It seems like Knicks fans and their writers are so used to misfortune that we are straight SCARED to support this team wholeheartedly, and everyone is just waiting for bad things to happen. It seems like National Media and rival media are giving us more praise and marking us as legit before our own fanbase and writers.

Bob Ryan, Boston beat writer who hates all things NY says, "This is the team, the Knick fans DESERVE for putting up with Dolan...".

Lets enjoy it and stop worrying about the next BAD thing to happen. Nobody else thinks that way. If we wanna gloat? **** it, lets gloat. We deserve it.

I'm surprised there's only one vote for 5-3.

It's a very real possibility to lose 3 games.

    -HORRIBLE out of timeouts
    -HORRIBLE D
    -Too many 3's
-PF is pushed to the 3 point line
    -Doesn't play BIGS
    -Dog Houses players
-HORRIBLE management of players and motivation

No, the Nets schedule thus far has been as easy as it gets. Combined record of 13-27

    . Lol. Nice one.

I don't see us losing more than 3 games. We're either losing 1-3 games. No way do I think we can go 8-0. A Lot of luck.

I am not ready to say 8-0, but the way this team plays defense we are just going to suffocate lottery teams.

I also do not see any way in hell this team lets HOU/Lin beat us or loses our first match against BK. Were going to see Heat type effort in those games and I think, barring a heroic performance from Harden or DWill, take both with relative ease.

I think we will struggle more in some lotto games we come out flat than we will in those 2, that we sure as hell won't come out flat for.

Agreed, especially against HOU. HOU is not a real good team right now, and I expect Melo & Felton to come out in full attack mode that game.

Lets just say all 8 games are very winnable, but this is the NBA, where any team can win on any given night.

Its a good stretch for us though, if you're going to play alot of games in short time period you want to do it against the weaker teams. I'd be disappointed if we didn't at least go 6-2. BK has had a ridiculously easy schedule but they are beating most teams they should beat, thats why they're 6-2

I say we go 1-0 six times and 0-1 two times.

yeah so then when we're playing detroit, you think they'll be worrying about the next game in brooklyn? let me know how that goes over if we end up losing to detroit.

Players thinking 'one game at a time' and fans thinking 'one game at a time' are two completely different things.

Fan can speculate the future all they want, it has zero affect on what actually happens. Fans thinking ahead towards BK isn't going to make the Knicks forget about DET and come out flat.
