The WWE can only grasp at the attitude era straws for so long before they wake up and produce something to rival that time in wrestling history. Don't think it can ever be replicated, but with the talent they have, they could certainly come close.

the rock doesnt have "loose affliliation" everyone knows the rock because of the WWE i dont call that "loose affliation" if anything its strong affliation because people know thats how and where the rock became famous...just because he isnt around doesnt mean his name isnt affliated with the wwe anymore it has been and always will be even when he passes

my thinking is by having someone so iconic win the new designed belt would give the belt more presitge than the belt has had in some time

its not about grasping for straws with the attitude era because that will never happen again its about having one of the most important people in wrestling history hold the title to make it mean something again

whether or not they can pull that off will remain to be seen

but there will always be characters and storylines bigger than the belt because its wrestling

I agree I love CM Punk as a man and as a wrestler and I want to see him hold the WWE Title for the foreseeable future

And yes I want to see him unveil the new title tonight after being WWE Champion for 1 year
