Could the 2012 rookie QB class challenge the 2004 class

    In terms of overall success/Talent/Production

    Eli Manning
    Philip Rivers
    Big Ben
    Matt Schaub

    Luck
    RG3
    Tannehill
    Weeden
    Wilson
    Foles

By the way it was this stat that got me thinking about it

" Rookie quarterbacks — Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, Robert Griffin III and Brandon Weeden — had 21 victories through Week 10, virtually assuring that they will shatter the NFL season record of 23."

No. I just cant see it. The 2004 class develped later. Remember when Eli sucked? (referring to his first 2 years).

Luck will probably have the best career out of the 2 classes, but still find the 2004 one better.

Well 2004 has four (I think?) superbowl wins already, so it's definitely going to be hard for this class to keep up.

Jason Collins claims he is the first openly gay NBA player despite the fact we witnessed the entire league bend the Lakers over all season.

If the 2012 class is already more developed then the 2004 class was wouldnt that would be advantage 2012?....

Way too early to say. Last year people were saying the same thing about the 2011 draft class, and the 2011 QBs have been inconsistent at best this season. Give it 5 years.

The potential is there for it to be a really good class. I doubt many thought the Colts would have the record they do now, RG3 and Morris are essentially carrying that team, Tannehill is alot better than I expected him to be at this point.

The 2004 class is odd cus I always thought Rivers was the best of the 4 but Eli and Big Ben each have 2 super bowls, and Schaub could win 1 this year or next year. Rg3 and Luck should each at least win 1, Idk about the rest of those guys.

Well Rivers sucks, Schaub is just now filling in, and seeing how Luck is already better than Ben and RG3 is already better than Eli, I'd say yes.

Who's to say? No one from the 2002 or 2003 draft class has won, only Rodgers in the 05 class, and none from the 06-12 drafts have won (though it's obviously early for most of them). Outside of the 04 draft class, only Brees (2001 class), Brady (2000 class), Manning (1998 class), and Rodgers (2005 class) have won since the 2003 season's SB. It's very possible that some of the best QBs of the future might never win a SB.
