Tahj Boyd was almost universally seen as a 2nd-3rd round selection and his father also confirmed this as that was the draft grade he was given. I have zero idea where this idea is that he would have been lucky to see a 7th round draft pick from.

Honestly, I thought Boyd was going to be the biggest riser in this draft and could have gone in the first round. Awesome bowl game in a win over LSU and he's got all the athleticism in the world to be a major work out warrior. It would not surprise me in the least if he was a top 15 pick next season if his senior year goes well.

once coach kelly and the eagles' office figure everything out.. IF we don't really need our high pick, we should trade down and stock pile our picks, there some good picks in later rounds. heh. Oh yeah we mine as well scoop up Matt Barkley along the way.

I like Nassib better than both of em. The guy is basically Rodger Clemens. Never seen anyone throw harder.

Tavon Austin is a player I'd assume that Kelly would die to have in this offense. He could do literally anything with him. A lot like Percy Harvin..

Yea he is a jack of all trades. It's funny he is projected at the NE slot as he would likely be their replacement to Welker...eventually I suppose. Austin is electric.

I dont see a point in Austin. We have enough midget WRs and enough versatile backs. Austin is a 2nd round pick. Way to early to take something we have plenty of

This was a bottom 5 offense in the league last year, doesn't matter how much talent is there.

It wasn't a bottom 5 offense last year based on our skill positions outside of the QB position. It was almost entirely offensive line driven, with some blame on the QB position and a lack of a true red zone option (or maybe it was red zone plays).

if we are indeed switching to a 3-4 to think we are going anything other then DT / OLB / S in the first 3 rounds is FOOLISH

Star / Jarvis for sure....if one of those 3 are there... LOCK IT UP

I wonder if they trade Trent Cole and get another pick before the draft

He is going to be hard to trade or cut with the new contract and down year, but also doesn't fit a 3-4 system.

This defense has way too many holes to draft Austin that high IMO.
