So, is it realistic? This front office has surprised us before with big splashes: Asante, Aso, Vick, TO, Kearse.
All I do is hit. I even hit your mother once. Yep, hit it good.

If the Panthers give up on Cam, then they should just write themselves up as the worst organization in sports.

I'd give our 1st this year ++ for Cam. Cam would be the best player in this draft by a landslide.

    FIRE ME!

Cam newton is a 23 year old super prospect. The greatest physical specimen the game has ever seen at qb. Only Andrew luck comes close

Giving up on cam this early is like trading Lebron James, Dwight Howard, shaq after year 2.

So no not realistic. If he actually hit the trade market I'd probably trade 1st, 2nd, next years 1st and nick foles

Now, they also mentioned the "possibility" of Cam heading elsewhere too. How likely? Who knows. It's well known that Cam is Rivera's boy, and if Cam were to leave, Rivera could be pretty influential in his destination.

Is it worth pursuing? Would anyone here be opposed with using our 1st round pick on Newton?
You know better BDawk...Cam Newton has 0% of being traded to the Eagles.

Tyrann Mathieu is planning on declaring for the draft...he will only have just turned 21 by the time the draft will take place. If Im the Eagles he would be high on my draft board in terms of the safety position. Talent/vaue wise I would take him in the 2nd round...but with his added risk Im hoping we could snag him in the 3rd. He is such a wildcard though so I have no idea what his current projected round will be so hopefully the Eagles can get him in the 5th or later but we'll see how things shake up in the coming months.

Low character guys are not what this team needs right now.

Illegal activity and letting down an entire team isn't low character, really?

Relapsing IN rehab isn't low character?

I suppose once he gets paid and actually has money to blow, we shouldn't be worried?

    Not thanks.

Coming from the guy who supports Mike Vic like its life or deathk...talk about low character.

This team also needs talent and passionate leaders, something Mathieu brings. Depending on the round of selection, I would take a chance.

Did I want Vick while he was killing dogs, no. Vick did his time, and had proved he was changed.

What has Mathieu done besides shown that he wants to get paid (by declaring for the draft)?

For a late round pick, sure, but I don't trust this kid in the early rounds.
