    McCoy Challenges "Old Man Vick" To a 40 Yard Race, Gets Smoked

    Michael Vick suffered career lows last season in yards per carry and rushing yards per game. At 32, it's fair to say that the quarterback's explosiveness on the ground is not what it once was.

    Just don't tell that to LeSean McCoy.

    Philadelphia Eagles safety Colt Anderson wrote on Twitter that Vick beat McCoy in a 40-yard race at the Eagles' practice facility Thursday morning.

    McCoy said earlier this offseason that practices with coach Chip Kelly were like a "freaking track meet." That appears to be paying off for Vick, who still can beat a running back eight years younger than him.

    I'm not sure how I feel about this, I'm glad that Vick seems to be in great shape but hopefully Shady isn't losing steps. Maybe LeSean is just bulking up for the huge uptick in carries he'll get this year.

    This is kind of awesome. That Vick can still outrun Shady even though he has lost a step shows how special an athlete he was/is.

    Kinda glad none of you guys did the whole, "They shouldn't be goofing around! They should practice 18 hours a day and sleep on a bed of playbooks" thing that a lot of people do.

    Shady got that lateral quickness which is the only thing that matters. Have you ever seen Vick in open field? He's a dart.
