I don't get the love for him, he clearly is too scared of the AL East.

“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

I think I would rather go after McCarthy or Jackson though. Greinke would be great though obviously
There is talk of the LA teams being around 6/150mil for him in the MLB forum. I know Rogers has opened up the pursestrings, but if they want to be that generous with payroll I can see it being better spent.
Absolutely.
IMO if there willing to spend that kind of money (at this point it looks like they might be), then I definately feel there are better ways to spend it to round out this team.
i would rather wait til next season and sign halladay for 2 yrs 40 million.
Personally never been a fan of the guy and certainly don't wanna see the jays overpay for him

the max AA will sign is 5 years.....im not sure if hes willing to go to 6 years....its hard to say....and 150 million?.....i don't know about that.....the trade that just happened is worth about 160 million....
well if ur gonna be clear playoff favorites, u mind as well make that final move and be clear world series champion favorites
Why not? He's a beast and any team would love to have him.
Grienke will get way over paid and with his history do you risk 100 million plus on him NO!! If we didn't pull off Marlins trade then yes we needed pitching and he was best out there. However now we are not desperate for pitching so why spend so much on something that is not really needed. Now if we were getting a true ace like Felix, Lee, or a Verlander I'd say go for it. Greinke is good but not a true ace. At least not to me I'm sure others would disagree.
