    Not a knock on Duncan, but I always thought Garnett was just as good as him if not better. Duncan has always had a great coach, with a great supporting cast.

    except we can't ignore playoffs, where Duncan separated himself from KG pretty easily.

    In his peak, KG was arguably the best player in the league, during the regular season. His playoff run in 04' was excellent, but it wasn't even that great really. His offensive rating was 100, and he was at .168 WS/48 for that run.

    He was an awesome regular season player, but just never was able to step up and play even better when it mattered most.

    If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

    For the Wolves? KG is the only guy to lead them in every statistical category in a season. In 03-04', he led the NBA in points and rebounds, total wise.
