Read it on social media a few minutes ago and been trying to find an article on BSPN. Sounds legit though.
The burden of proof for a bench hearing and a jury trial are eons apart. Prolly why DA's office wisely back off.

does this mean he's gonna play better?? NO! hes still gone by next year..hes a quitter anyways
McClain dodged that bullet. Will he dodge R.M.'s bullet after this season?

Dropped ? But PSD had him guilty from the start with guaranteed jail time. This can't be true. PSD posters are never wrong

Good for him it was a bs charge anyway.
Kill or be killed .
Well he won't face any jail time or suspension. But he is still being phased out and unlike Lamar Houston who has come through in his 3rd season as Defensive Player of the Week he is not playing at the level he should. But where does this leave Aaron Curry? I thought sure that he would be taking snaps away from him too.
Just like he'll be after the season..The Charges against McClain were dropped.
Time to get rid of him after the season.![]()
I just rolled my eyes so hard I have a headache.
I mean - who could have seen this coming? Who among us...?
The judicial system in Alabama is an absolute joke. A bench trial without allowing defense witnesses - and it happens in a predominately black county... go figure.
And, yes, I called that this would be dropped a year ago, when it happened. It was a joke then, and it's a joke now.
This doesn't make him a better player, however.

(HUGE thanks to Weeman for this)
Well that's good. He'll avoid jail time and a tackle.
