Lions placed SS Amari Spievey (concussion) on season-ending injured reserve.
Spievey suffered his second concussion of the calendar year in Week 7 against the Bears. Head coach Jim Schwartz noted the following day that the safety would be watched "very closely" from here on out. Erik Coleman will start at strong safety for the remainder of the season. Cornerback Drayton Florence was activated from injured reserve designated for return in a corresponding move. Florence broke his right forearm in Week 2 against the 49ers. Top corner Chris Houston is listed as questionable on the injury report with an ankle injury, and Detroit needs all of the secondary help they can get. Florence will likely assume nickel duties

Has anyone heard any updates on Greenwood? I know he returned to practice last month but I don't know if/when he will be ready to play
