Who Will Be Impacted the Most with Mike D'Antoni as Coach?

I being watching a lot of ESPN and NBATV, and they say Kobe will be affected the most by D'Antoni. I started thinking about it and I thought that Metta, Meeks, and Jamison. I know our bench will improve, and Meeks and Jamison will be able to knock down shoot, and get more opportunity to do so in this system. Metta will be able to play the pick and roll and also be able to get more open 3's off of kick out shots.

Kobe will get his ...Meeks will enjoy being able to shoot more .... D12 will love the pick and roll play ... in my mind it could be Morris and i'm saying could heavily on could . Morris may just take up space on the pine because of his inexperience but MD may give him a good look because of his on the ball defense , hustle and SPEED !

I know he's green as grass but his speed up and down the court allows us to get into our offensive sets quickly , as long as he is able to limit his turnovers and makes good decisions with the basketball .

Nash by a long shot. He's giving the lambo keys to Steve Nash.

Easy.. Steve Nash.. The poll should be who (besides nash) would benifit the most from mike D. I mean lets get real, nash has been an OK player so far, but bringing in Mike D will put him at an all star level again. I think Jamison will be a lot more effective as well compared to the production he has (or hasn't however you wanna look at it) given us so far..

Nash hands down. The acquisition of D'Antoni is gonna allow Nash to explode and not be contained in Princeton or Triangle offense.

I'd have to say Nash but it really depends on how he trys to run the offense.
This team he is coaching now is not the same as he had in Phoenix.

In Phoenix he never had a big name perimeter star like Kobe to manage.

So I'd say its impossible to say really until he starts coaching for real and Nash returns.

Positive Impact besides Nash will be Morris. He's going to develop quick this season especially in this system. Just off this houston game, you can see him start to slow down, not dribble as much, make good decisions, and mature.

Negative Impact (if there is) will be Pau. Coach D isn't the best with bigs and we have 2 of them out there, I hope he doesn't turn Pau into a straight jump shooter..

Nash should be the obvious choice. Won two MVPS with Dantoni coaching. Wouldn't be surprised if he explodes in this offense now that the name of who we should never speak of is out of a job.

    Steve Nash.

Not that his numbers would have stayed that low even if Brown was never fired, but now with his former coach back and the team he's playing with now, we're likely to see the outcome of what "could have been".

Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, Kobe, I believe they all will benefit from D'Antoni and play some of the offensive basketball we have anticipated from them.

any of the shooters provided that they start shooting better than they currently are. Dwight, Kobe, Nash, and Pau are going to command doubles, especially Nash off the P&R and high screen and rolls. Guys will be open... which is why I said on the trade thread, for those that are wanting to trade Gasol: if you trade Pau, it better be for guys than can make shots and defend
