we dont have the assets
I'd love Pau on this team.

Bulls would have to find a taker for Boozer's contract for this to work out. Last season's trade deadline the Bulls tried to do this because Lakers apparently said they'd trade Gasol to Chicago but didn't want Boozer themselves, but no team at the time was willing to take on Boozer's contract. Hopefully this time they find someone.

Boozer would actually be a pretty good fit for that team, they need someone to space it out for Dwight... I wonder if they would change their stance on that deal now?
WOOOO
Boozer/Rip for Pau
Sign JaJuan Johnson and either Raja or CDR to min deals.

The Lakers will not trade Gasol for Boozer and old man rip. Give it up guys. Deng and the Charlotte pick would at least get them thinking about it.
Thanks for the heads up, Zoltar.

Right now, we hold the 14th and 19th Picks of the 2013 Draft. It's too early to predict but if we have two picks in the teens, I would try to move up the top 3 and select Shabazz Muhammad. Off-course our team will improve down the road and you never know about the Bobcats.
Pau would be nice on the team, but it's a pipe dream.
not sure it's a pipe dream considering Boozer is a lot closer to Dwight than Pau is and might help him stay, and Nash would utilize Boozer really well once he's back. It makes more sense for the Lakers than last year did, that's for sure.
I'm not sure how a trade of Gasol for Boozer helps the Lakers in any way beyond perhaps replacing some of Gasol's knee problems with Boozer's extra year of paper.
If they genuinely don't want Gasol with his back to the basket and clogging the offensive paint with Dwight, how is Boozer a better fit beyond simply disappearing for stretches and willingly able to sit through the end of the third quarter/most of the fourth like he does with the Bulls? (meant as a joke as Gasol takes offense to all of those things)“He’s [Gasol] going to have to adjust his game,” D’Antoni said. “Now, when Dwight goes out and he’s the 5, we want to get him some looks inside. But again, he’s going to start the game off, about eight minutes worth where he’s going to get some jump shots, and he can make them.”
I know that Dwight and Booz are friends, but I would view the trade as very one-sided for the Bulls.
