But you aren't replacing Hinrich with those guys technically, it'll be replacing Hinrich with Derrick Rose. And Rose is easily a better defender than Hinrich is at both guard positions.

Rose actually became a good defender last year , he would have prob made one the all NBA Defense Team if he stayed healthy . I think he was like 11 votes away.

Just because Rose can start doing practices next week doesn't mean he should. Oh and Thibs can want to start him but that doesn't mean GarPax will let him.

Well Shump got injuried 15 mins after Rose but had surgery 10 days prior to Rose and had was cleared for full practice last week. I don't think Shump has been working out as hard as Rose has though . That being said it isn't far fetched that Rose could be cleared medically to practice now . The only reason why Rose isn't practicing now is because he's the face of the franchise . If he was somebody else they would have been in practice next week. I rather have Rose start and build some chemistry with the starters because he will be playing in limited mins for about a month . Why waste those mins with bench players and worry about his trying to fit in with the starters later during the most crucial part of the season where he can just get to work playing 28 or 30 mins in the last stretch of the season knowing how he fits in with the team ?

It's just rumors. Memphis got Conley playing PG for them. Unless they shift Bledsoe somewhere else, that trade won't make sense.

I think Memphis is testing the waters, knowing they cannot afford to extend Rudy Gay(being a small market team).

Memphis is going to get a young talent, a high draft pick and a SF replacement in return for Gay. Same thing OKC get out of Harden.

They're looking for a better back up PG because they aren't happy with Bayless and Even though Butler isn't as good as Gay he fits their team and they're looking for cap release . That's why this trade might appeal to the Grizz . Not to mention Bledsoe has mad potential and could become a big trade piece for them as well.
