Then go for a long FG. At least you give the team a shot of winning.

you think a 65 yard field goal has a better chance of working than a 10 yard pass? yeah this loss hurts but i don't think you can argue that play call.. we are 1-8 we got nothing to lose.. go for the win.

when i saw we were going for it i had the same initial reaction as you but when you look at it from the big picture it really was a no-brainer IMO.

and going for it on 4th did give us a shot at winning.. which is what you wanted. what would a punt have done?

Well this game turned out good. It shows the GM and coaching staff need to be fired.

I can understand that in some sense. But...game over. It was a fun one to watch this week.

"Blackmon once again made some hay during garbage time in Week 10 against the Colts. The only positive takeaway from that is that chances are good that Houston will enter the fourth quarter of this game with a big enough lead for Blackmon to "shine" again." - espn's fantasy projection for JB this week.

boy do they look stupid in so many ways haha

The coaching staff and the GM is mostly to blame.

Don't forget the defense. That's a big problem too.

Injuries have been a factor and the texans have a great offense, but the defense played very poorly today. Inability to stop the run is killing them. I'm losing my faith in Mel Tucker. His (over)use of the zone is questionable and the defense as a whole is too transparent to the opponent. Pass rush is still nonexistent.

On a bright note: the Jaguars have two real wide receivers for the first time since 2005.

We have some holes to fill in the defense in the offseason. But anyone here who is calling for a switch to the 34 defense would be a bad idea right now. The reason for that alone is that Pos has been really good for us since he's been here. He left Buffalo because he didn't like the 34. I say until he's no longer here or they wish to remove him, we should stick with the 43.

I agree that the WRs are looking to have a very promising future. We still need another one because Robinson is still a big question mark that I believe won't pan out here.
