He's not. Signed a 2 yr/$11M deal last year. Is a FA next year.
Darn that would have been nice...
Plus we kinda bailed on him, not sure how he feels about that.
I'm sure hes fine with it. Baseball is business, and he got a fresh new start in Arizona and hes doing great. I'm sure there are no hard feelings, Aaron's a pro. With that being said, I think we're more than fine with Izturis/Bonifacio at 2nd base with the lineup we have, plus we have a little depth in teh minors with serviceable guys like Ryan Goins and Ryan Schimpf
Trade bona and I izzy for hill in june
Beeston: "we should be able to support a $140-$150 million payroll and that's the direction that we're headed."

Hill has shown in the past that he's a capable hitter. Our problem with him was that he bought into whatever Murphy was teaching him. Murphy is an idiot, and Hill should've kept on doing what had always made him successful at the plate. That's what he did in Arizona, and the results spoke for itself.
Even when Hill was here I always liked his swing when he made good contact. Still I know what he can be and Bonafacio/izturis seems like we know what we are getting more.
