AA to call press conference sometime today

AA is planning on having a press conference at some point today, likely this afternoon. Will be played live on the FAN 590
Can this be the introduction of the new players (meaning the deal was approved) AND/OR the introduction of the new manager
Pretty cool if AA reveals the new manager at the same time as Reyes, JJ, Buehrle and company

I hope the manager is Sal Fasano or Alan Trammel

Ya my money is on the trade being approved. I think AA planned the manager thing for the same press conference. I'm not sure AA can pull another deal ready to announce today lol. How long do you think he has had the manager picked for? I say before the trade

that and not sure why he would need a PC to announce another trade, considering i doubt it would be as big as the one that just happened. but who knows

Its just wishful thinking on my part, there's no way he announces another deal today but I get the feeling that there will be a manager announced. I hope so anyway.

This sucks...that meanS there probably won't be another trade today...unless its already done and really big.

I think this NC is just...look what I did and here's the new manager. Actually I'll be happy to get that out of the way.

I hope it isn't the manager because that would mean Tracy or Riggleman is the choice. I don't like either.

It has to be the trade. Rosenthal tweeted today that it all points to today that the deal will be made official.

Plus yesterday AA commented on both managerial rumors and he said that if its a rumor it likely isn't true because of their policy and that nothing has been announced.

And apparently Riggleman hasn't been informed of anything at all so.

Primarily, it's probably the trade. Like someone else already noted, the last day to adjust the 40-man roster is today, and with the trade, we're two over (I think).

Secondly, I think a manager might be picked. I don't think Tracy or Riggleman were finalists, since Rigs said he was never contacted by the Jays. It could be anybody.
