Rajon Rondo with 20 assists in just 32 minutes

    Are you kidding me?!

That doesn't even equate to 3 full qtrs of basketball (36 minutes), and he still pulled off 20 assists.

Could he go down as one of if not the greatest assist-man in the history of the game?

Only haters don't recognize his talents and potential. He will develop a better shot. At this point he is the second best point guard in the league behind cp3.

He is my favorite player. Just mind-blowing. I love how he has improved his jumper. You can't sag off on him anymore.

Amazing passer. For sure. A ton of fun to watch.

I'd hold of on the "he's improved his shot" thing. We were saying the same thing about his shot at this point last year, and it certainly didn't improve at all. He's been in the league for 6 full years now. I don't really foresee major changes coming from him in terms of shooting.

Problem is, it's true this time. His shot is money now.

Well not money really, but good enough to respect and not sag off.

Why? Seriously, at this time last year he was having an even better shooting season than he is this year, and he regressed back to his mean. I personally got carried away with it...and I was foolish in thinking so. Most players, historically, don't suddenly turn into significantly better shooters in their 7th season in the NBA.

lmao rondo been playin with an all-star team since his first start, id LOVE to see rondo on a team like the magic/bobcats/hornets/jazz,etc. he's a good passer but thats it. and when youre surrounded by talent like boston (whos been one of the deepest teams since rondo been playing) and youre a good passer its easy to put up that many asissts....rondo aint that good, STOP IT

I am pretty sure Nash did something similar a few times did he not? that being said Rondo really is great and people need to eat some crow including myself. Seems not to be a product of those big 3 people spoke of

Perhaps because he is shooting more jumpers now than layups, of course his percentage goes down attempting more lower percentage shots. That doesn't equate a still shaky jumper.

Look at his form, it's much better this year...he is hitting Js at a greater clip than ever before.
