Pisses me off because Bulls FO always looking for perfect guys with no talent. We could have had Jamal a year ago. They didn't go after him hard enough

Would have been perfect off the bench like he is for the Clippers.

    The Wizards' missing piece.

It was a money problem. Bulls didn't have much. They were targeting Crawford pretty damn hard but he he still settled for a lesser amount when it was all said and done due to lack of good money offers which is why some here got frustrated with Crawford for doing that.

It was never a problem with money with the crawford situation. We expressed some interest in him as a free agent last year, but we ended up waiting for hamilton to be bought out, and this past season we didnt express interest in him we went straight after kirk.

It was a money issue. Bulls were trying to do a s&t for him from atlanta that involved brewer. The problem was that Crawford didn't like the money he was to make and even tho it was reported that Chicago was one of his top choices, if not the top choice for him hence it dragged out a lil bit, the money was never increased. So that deal went out and he tried to find another team to get him the money but no one did so he settled for what he was to make with chicago essentially anyway. So no, it was not that the Bulls were waiting on Hamilton being bought out, they legitimately wanted Crawford and even Thibs was reported to keeping in contact with Crawford during the process. Hamilton was the guy they got at the very end.

This past offseason it was again a money issue that held the bulls back from signing a variety of guys: young/smith/mayo/crawford/williams/etc.
