    Melky Cabrera signs 2yr deal with Toronto

    Enrique Rojas of ESPNdeportes.com reports that the Blue Jays have signed Melky Cabrera to a two-year, $16 million contract.

    Great move by AA. This team could win the AL East. AA isn't ****ing around here. Cubs should have been in on that. But we have prospects YAY!

    Dang those blue jays are going to be entertaining to watch. If Melky can put up similar numbers up like he did in KC and San Fran 16/2 is a great buy.

    Agree. The slashes weren't meant to represent starters/backups, just two players who could both see significant reps in that spot depending on how the rest of the offseason shakes down. I expect both Boni and Izturis to get in there reguarly, Bonifacio more because he'll play OF as well
