    via Rotoworld:

White Sox prospect OF Trayce Thompson extended his hitting streak to nine games on Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run and four RBI for Double-A Birmingham.
The 23-year-old has opened the season on a tear and is now batting .359/.419/.513 with three doubles, a home run, seven RBI and 8/4 strikeout-to-walk ratio through 10 games. After going 0-for-5 in Birmingham's season opener, Thompson is batting .412 during his current nine-game hitting streak. With Avisail Garcia out of the year, Thompson, who's already on the White Sox' 40-man roster, could conceivably get a look in the major leagues late in the season.

He needs to show that he won't strikeout 30% of the time. Started good. Still have hope for him as he just turned 23.

    .

If one of these guys is hitting .308 against righties, move him up a level until he doesn't. Otherwise, pass.

...and when a 29 year old with zero major league innings (Scott A. Carroll) is your best minor league starter by stats, you don't have a lot of depth.

It's what three weeks in the season. Let's relax. We're seeing some good play by good prospects.

Odd that Tommy Hanson doesn't show up on any of our minor team rosters. He pitched in spring training for the Rangers and presumably wasn't injured.

Micah definitely looks like our 2B of the future, putting up some great numbers! INF could be pretty good going forward if Semien can play a decent SS.
