Sanchez is tough now considering his price tag. Haren is also a one year gamble like Johnson. But for something cheap to give back why not.

I think McCarthy is the most realistic one, but he's never thrown a full season, concern for AA.

AA is just waiting for the official...and you know what...so many players would want to be part of a future success...marcum i know is soo interested in coming back to the jays....and haren is definitely an attractive player to get....the prize is greinke...we will see wat goes down...even saunders is ok...but i rather go after marcum, sanchez, greinke, and haren

JPA for Ogando and sign Marcum. Gives you quality depth, if a starter goes down, you got a guy in the pen you can insert into the rotation. That gives you a rotation that goes 7 deep(including Happ)

Look at Harens drop in velocity, you'd be crazy to offer 4 years to him. I like Haren as much as anyone else but there are red flags.

i would only sign him for a year...2 years tops....hutchinson and drabek will be back in 14'......and then sanchez & syndergaard will be almost ready
