    Ultimate is a non-contact sport played with a 175 gram flying disc. The object of the game is to score points by passing the disc to a player in the opposing end zone, similar to an end zone in American football or rugby. Players may not run with the disc, and may only move one foot while holding the disc (pivoting).

    While originally called Ultimate Frisbee, it is now officially called Ultimate because Frisbee is the trademark, albeit genericized, for the line of discs made by the Wham-O toy company. In 2008, there were 4.9 million Ultimate players in the US.

    Been here before, stopped posting at the beginning of October for my military training. Just finished up, and I hope to be a regular contributor to this site once again. Nice to see some familiar faces around here still

    1. Location: everywhere, soon to be St. Louis
    2. Favorite Current Viking: AD, JA, EJ, C. Griff, Greenway (in that order)
    3. Favorite Former Viking: Randy Moss (all-time favorite)
    4. Other teams in the NFL you root for? Not really, but I kind of like the Chiefs and the Ravens
    5. Other sports you enjoy? playing hockey (not watching), baseball, golf, tennis, disc golf, basketball
