    Which Monitor For Me?

I'm choose between two different monitors here. Primary use will be for games and blue ray movies.

Here are the two key difference I see in the two monitors.

HP: 7 ms response time, 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Samsung: 2 ms response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio.

    Both are 60hz refresh rate.

    Thanks.

I have a very similar Samsung. Grabbed it at Best Buy a couple of years ago. Love it. Perfect picture. Zero issues.

Try checking more reviews on Amazon or Newegg.

Maybe its just me, but I would get a splitter (DVI or some digital signal) and get two monitors. I would get the cheaper monitor though.

How would two monitors be useful for gaming or watching movies though?

From what I read, response time is pretty important when gaming especially if you're playing FPS games so the HP probably wouldn't be a great idea. I'm looking for a new monitor myself so if you guys have any suggestions for monitors under $200 post them up.

I'm sorry I forgot to mention 200 is my budget, although that HP for 220 is enticing.

Stay away from the 7 ms, trust me the extra space is worth it.
