He has been in the league for four years and progressively gotten worse. There is no reason to expect improvement. I am not sure you guys realize how long four years in the NBA actually is and what it means for a player.

sure there is. he is still capable of playing at the same level he played as a rookie. He hasnt had a career threatening injury, he is still yet to hit his prime, he wasnt just a specialist either.... what made him special was that he was a complete player. He can help a team a lot of different ways, it would be foolish to give up on him at this point.
A role model if I ever knew one

I think if moved to a more established, veteran team like the Rockets or even the Magic, he would be a better player. I think thy could really use a guy like that in NY or even in Portland

I suggest actually watching him play.

Thompsons just struggling. It's his sophomore season and he's always been cocky. I think this time will humble him and make him a better player overall in the coming months and years

Naw he was just quiet. Growing up where he grew up as you know, and how he probably grew up, most young men would be cocky.

Shyt orange county, family money and fame, athletes throughout the family..Of course dudes cocky.

And I think this time of struggle will actually make him a better player. Hopefully he'll work on his game. I can tell Mark and the coaches still believe in him.

yes they do, and i hope klay can learn to be effective without the ball, and to be effective on offense besides shooting.

but thats klay though. once a shooter, always a shooter. of course he got preferential treatment growing up, and they probably all told him he has a gift and that he should never stop shooting. thats the problem with pure shooters..

    at least curry is distributing

I'm rescinding my comment about the mavs guards. Mayo played great but the Clippers had the best guards and we beat them too

I have come to the conclusion/assumption that Klay's poor performance may have something to do with his marijuana consumption. I just looked at some of his pics on google as well as an interview with his father and the kid was BAAAAKED yo. Plus, underneath the video was an article of him getting arrested in college for smoking weed.

Klay Thompson is pulling a Tim Lincecum type year thus far, though it's still early. What do Klay and Tim have in common other than their mysteriously bad starts? They both got arrested from marijuana possession. I think it's pretty obvious that The Freak was doped up (not steroids) and that is why he could turn it on and off whenever he wanted too.

I mean Klay knows better than to shoot with 15 seconds left, especially when he's cold. Then there were those 2 free throws he missed against Denver, then he forgot to foul Galanardi. I think Klay has been smoking a little bit too much dope.
