You would think after four consecutive fourth place finsihes that they would at some point have mercy on the fans but I guess when you have three failed wanna-be Gordon Gekko's running a franchise into the ground you can't expect that type of leniency towards ticket prices.

At the very least they should keep ticket prices the same from last year.

I honestly don't get the Mets, they see how bad ticket sales were last year and how frustrated the fan base is about how poorly the team has performed in recent years and the first thing that pops into their heads is "Hey I know, let's raise ticket prices"

We all understand its a business, but that is just classless.
    It is sad.

Ticket prices SHOULD be equal or less than last year. If anything, the ASG should be reason to justify keeping them equal and not lowering them.

    HOWEVER

As a business, it should be expected that they promote their product despite how great/awful it will be. They shouldn't just stop season ticket sales because they're bad.

FoC, you're in PR. You know business. You don't try to get people to NOT buy your product despite it sucking. It's their job to shill it and to get people to buy it.

There will always be people looking to buy them, and there's nothing wrong with them sending out an e-mail.

There are many things to be critical of, but this isn't one.

Raising ticket prices after last season is certainly one, but not them sending an e-mail for you to purchase them. They need money, what else will they do?
    Yeah.

They're out of their f-ing minds. I have no idea who I'll be paying to see play next season but they want me to start thinking about buying tickets now.

    Two words:

    Stub Hub.
So, FoC, how many packages are you going to buy?

Maybe I'll send one to John F.
