Jason Kidd, whose Nets lost to the Spurs in the 2003 Finals, got his ring with Dallas two years ago. He’s been back numerous times before, but he was asked how close he was to signing with San Antonio nine years ago. “Very,” Kidd said. “Very close. If it wasn’t for thinking that I could win a championship in Jersey I would have came here. But I thought we had a chance to still win and be competitive. It just didn’t work out that way.”

Should be a great game. I will be going back and forth between this and doing other things. The Knicks look like contenders this year and have a veteran laden team focused on perimeter shooting and defense. Something that I would have never anticipated with Anthony helming the lead.

Not thrilled about Blair starting... But w/e. Thought Diaw would do better defensively than Blair can.

Hope the bench comes out with more energy. 4 games away from home, and they are so flat.

Kawhi lost Brewer 2x, there's gotta be more talking on the court on defense
