The only people that can make this arguement are PC gamers. PS3 online is free as you said. Which means more younger people can use it since they dont have money to pay for live.

It's pretty funny how people who defend the 360 have really no arguments too. It's just "Well I don't like movies" Really lol? Then when the new Xbox has bluray they will be like, oh well the 720 has bluray now so we blurays are awesome. Also Microsoft has really no answer to PS Plus. They look like ****ing cheapskates compared to Sony.

Competitive and hardcore in what? COD? Thats a party game, not a competitive game.

FPS's ARE NOT competitive on consoles. I've said this a million times. If you look at where the sponsorships and money is in competitive gaming they agree with me. The money is in Starcraft 2, MOBA's, and formally CS 1.6 and Quake Live. All PC games. The only console competitive games are fighting games and thats only if you have a arcade stick.

Sure there are sponsors and competitions for the likes of COD and Halo, but they aren't close to as popular and people aren't winning 10,000+ for a major tourney like the latter.

The absolute only difference between consoles is the 360 has more kiddies with mics you have to mute, or guys with the name xXx420QUIKSCOPExXx that yell about how high they are or try to 1v1 you like it means something.

It's pretty competitive to me. I know nothing about PC games, so you could be right.
